Design and Build

I enjoy the challenge of designing a set that will maximize the space available and provide an excellent place for your children to play and grow. Let's work together to build an extraordinary playset or treehouse. Below are some of images of sets I've built recently.

On this set the deck and rockwall are made of Trex for long-lasting smoothness.

The swingbeam here is nearly 10 inches thick to support four swings.

Here is set I did in Ellicott City, MD.

Choose any size or color of slide. The internet is full of options like steering wheels, telescopes, etc.

Wide steps make it easy to climb in.

I made this bed for my son. The monkey bars let him jungle around.

We wanted something he could climb on but also sleep on.

This shelf is for books and also provides a launch pad for the monkey bars.

The ladder helps him climb to the second level.

All bolts are recessed to avoid injury and provide a clean look.

This large treehouse features a slide, monkey bars and tire swing.

This set cost the client about $1550.

A fifteen foot stainless steel slide provides a thrilling ride for all ages.

A spring-loaded gate provides security and good looks.

Top view of the slide. It is very fast!

Avast you lubbers! The Jolly Roger rides atop the flagpole.

An enormous tree provides shade and stability.

A footstep to provide a boost to the monkey bars. Arched braces support the 2"x6" steps.

Tight balusters keep everyone in.

This set in Silver Spring has a large rock wall with a trap door.

A simple but very strong three swing set with monkey bars and slide.

This is a set I designed and built for a customer in Tacoma Park. It is made from lumber from Lowe's and playset parts ordered from the internet. All together it cost about $1300 with monkey bars. It can easily be stained or painted, is made with pressure treated lumber, and has the sharp edges rounded over with 1/2 router bit.
